To start using SftTabs/NET 6.0 in a VB.NET application developed using an earlier SftTabs/NET version, follow these simple steps:

Open your project. If you receive any error messages (usually if your forms are automatically opened in design mode), simply close all open files without saving them.

Access the project's properties using the menu command Project > Properties. Click on the References tab.

The References tab shows all assemblies your application uses. Visual Studio automatically changed your project to use SftTabs/NET 6.0.

But two additional references must be added:

Softelvdm.Controls.dll
Softelvdm.SftTabsNET.ControlImpl.dll

Click on the "Add..." button, then click on the "Browse" tab and locate the SftTabs/NET directory containing the dlls. The default path is C:\Program Files\Softelvdm\SftTabs NET 6.0\Bin.

Select the dlls (Control key + left mouse button) and click OK.

Your project can now be saved. All forms now use SftTabs/NET 6.0.
